So, the very last loose end we had to tie up before closing on the new house was resolved this afternoon. We had to find someone to sublease the rental house we've been living in for 6yrs. I put a sign in the yard last week, but got no responses. Then I posted it on Craigslist.com and shazzam! I had an inbox full of people bloodthirsty for the lease, and in just 4 days, we are done with that house.

It was a good place. We had some fun times there. We were married in front
of the apple tree out back, and made pies from the fruit every year. There
were some serious croquet and bocci throwdowns on the front lawn. A few band
practices in the back bedroom. Even the kid spent some time crawling on the
threadbare carpet.

But i'm glad we're leaving.
